Covenant Students Win Engineering Challenge at GEM Tournament
Last weekend, seven Covenant Middle School girls competed in the 7th Annual Girls Excelling at Math competition, hosted by the Village School.
There were 4 portions of the competition: team and individual written portions; a math problem raffle activity; and engineering challenge. Congratulations to the team of Mary Lawson, Riley Perrault, and Hailey Taggart who won the engineering challenge! Additionally, Carissa Han was the 3rd place individual out of all 65 competitors! Many thanks to Dr. Karen Klinworth, Middle School Math Teacher, for her support.
