The Eagle Fund
The Eagle Fund is an annual athletics-focused giving campaign that works alongside the Covenant Fund to support our growing athletics program. It reflects our commitment to strengthening Covenant Athletics in alignment with our strategic goals and gospel-centered mission.
Established following a comprehensive assessment by Southern Teachers Agency in 2023, the Eagle Fund is informed by data, benchmarks, and recommendations that guide our investment in athletics. This support helps us build a program that serves our student-athletes well and reflects best practices in independent school athletics.
The Eagle Fund will provide the financial resources necessary as we work to achieve the following goals:

Increase our Per-Athlete Investment
We will increase our coach's stipends, equipment, and supplies to a level consistent with the comparable mean of other independent schools (according to the Southern Teachers Athletic Team Statistics - STATS). -
Establish an Athletics Leadership Team.
This team will cast a strategic vision for Covenant Athletics, and "coach our coaches" who and shape student-athletes in a gospel-centered manner.- Athletic Director - hired July of 2024

Hire a full-time staff to support the physical health of our teams and athletes.
These professionals will provide support through strength training, athletic development and conditioning, as well as injury treatment and prevention.- Full-Time Strength and Conditioning Coach

Establish a Strength and Conditioning Program
This program, available to all Covenant student-athletes at no additional cost, while also supporting our existing programs and the training philosophies of our coaches. -
Establish a Student Training Program
The future Athletic Trainer will develop a cohort of student trainers to support our teams, coaches, and players through appropriate treatment, and injury prevention methods. -
Develop a Comprehensive Coaches Training and Support Program
This will be aimed at attracting, retaining, and developing the highest-quality coaches.

Located in Charlottesville, VA, The Covenant School is a non-denominational, private, Christian day school for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.
