Welcome, Coach Hunter Lynn : Varsity Boys Lacrosse
Covenant would like to welcome Coach Hunter Lynn as the new Boys Lacrosse coach.
Hunter was born and raised in Charlottesville and has been coaching youth lacrosse in the community for over 6 years. He played at Albemarle High School where he was team captain and garnered All-Central Virginia Team honors. From there, he went on to be a four-year starter at Randolph Macon College, playing both midfield and attack.
Over the years, Hunter has been passionate about promoting the sport of lacrosse in the Charlottesville community. His efforts include coaching recreational lacrosse, hosting various clinics, and providing indoor lacrosse programs. For the last four years, Hunter has developed a successful travel Hawks Club lacrosse team for the 2027 & 2026 classes and is the head coach of the Hawks travel team.
Hunter is thrilled to join the Eagles athletic program and is blessed to bring with him his wife (Kelly), his son (Brody- Covenant ’27), son (Carter- Covenant '27), and daughter (Morgan - Covenant ’27).
Coach Lynn is looking forward to developing the lacrosse program at Covenant. Coach Lynn says, "Playing competitive sports has taught me so many life lessons over the years. I look forward to developing high-quality lacrosse players and focusing on the importance of the valuable life skills that can be learned through competitive sports.”
Located in Charlottesville, VA, The Covenant School is a non-denominational, private, Christian day school for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.
