Journey Through the Cradle of Western Civilization: Visit Italy and Greece in 2020

Ms. Alana Speth, History Department Chair at Covenant, will be hosting a trip to Italy and Greece in the summer of 2020.
She previously hosted 2 international trips: Paris, the Riviera, Florence, and Rome in the Summer of 2018, and Barcelona and Madrid during this past Spring Break 2019. “One of my favorite things about traveling with students is watching their faces as they see things they’ve learned about in history or art classes. The look of awe on a student’s face when standing in the Colosseum or looking at Michelangelo’s David is worth every minute of planning to get us there,” remarked Speth.

Students in grades 9-12 are invited to join her for this 12-day customized trip that includes Venice, Florence, Athens, and a cruise in the Aegean Sea. Registration is open and parents are invited to a meeting on Wednesday, May 8, at 5:30 to hear more about the trip. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can join in a Google Hangout that will broadcast the meeting live. If you’d like to join that hangout, please email Ms. Speth at aspeth@covenantschool.org.

Please visit Ms. Speth’s travel blog to view photos from her past trips and to view even more information about Italy/Greece 2020.
