Spanish Teacher - Upper School

The Covenant School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to teach Spanish at the high school level. This can be a full or part-time position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and will possess a thorough knowledge of the literature, art, geography, history, and culture of the Spanish-speaking world. A strong command of spoken Spanish is a must as we strive to meet ACTFL’s recommendation of a 90% usage of the target language in the classroom.

Candidates should possess a mature, Christian faith and an educational philosophy that is consistent with The Covenant School’s mission statement and Christian Liberal Arts & Sciences pedagogy.

The candidate must be passionate about working with high school students and preferably have experience at that level. Given Covenant’s mission, candidates must also have the ability to share their Christian faith authentically in the context of their teaching.

To apply, please submit a résumé and cover letter to Lisa Kellerman at lkellerman@covenantschool.org.
