Upper School / Middle School Visual Art Teacher

The Covenant School is seeking a full-time Upper School / Middle School Visual Art teacher for the 2020-21 school year.  All candidates should have a demonstrable Christian commitment and an educational philosophy that is consistent with The Covenant School’s mission statement and Christian Liberal Arts & Sciences pedagogy. Qualified candidates will have a degree in Visual Art or Art Education or a related field. Candidates must also have the ability to inspire students’ preliminary interest in the visual arts (both 2D and 3D), and also work with more advanced student artists toward achieving real excellence. The visual arts educator who will best fit thrives in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary educational environment. A central, lively and grounded Christian faith will be easily evident in her/his work and life. Responsibilities will include teaching Visual Arts classes in the Middle and Upper Schools.
