Middle School Girls 10th Annual GEM Competition Results
Earlier this month, several of our middle school girls participated in the 10th Annual Girls Excelling at Math (GEM) competition. Over 13 schools and 115 girls participated in some very difficult tests and challenges, and we are so proud of all of our girls who competed.
We are pleased to announce that Emilia Jones ('26), Elise Klintworth ('25), and Kinsley Verbrugge ('25) won first place on the Team Test for the Upper Division. This is the third year in a row that Covenant has won this event!
In addition, KinsleyVerbrugge won third place in the Individual Event, and Charlotte James ('27) and Emilia Jones each won third place in their divisions in the Hands-On Engineering Challenge. For this challenge, the girls had just 30 minutes to design a roller coaster for a ping pong ball using some provided household materials.
