The Servant Heart of Covenant

It is part of the mission at The Covenant School to nurture the habits of servanthood into the hearts and minds of our students.

During this time of quarantine, Covenant students are continuing to think of others before themselves. They have been sewing masks, making cards for elderly members of their churches, helping out with chores and taking care of younger siblings, and blessing their neighbors with encouraging messages on their sidewalks and art in their windows.
  • Naomi Chang (‘28) and Mollie Wamhoff (‘28) lived out the Lower School motto of “I’m Third” when they celebrated their tenth birthdays by holding food drives in their neighborhoods. They were able to donate food to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
  • Madi and Bryson Alley (‘20) wanted to find a way to give back to their community. They held a food drive in their neighborhood to benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.  Madi said, “Our little act of service stimulated a lot of joy.Taking shape in the smiles of the volunteers collecting our donations, within the Alley family hearts, and I am sure in the eyes of our heavenly Father!”
  • Ari Dakolios (‘31) and her sister Sophia (‘33) chose to clean up trash at Mint Springs Park on Earth Day.
