Carl Seelman Named Varsity Golf Coach

The Covenant School is pleased to announce Carl Seelman as it’s new varsity golf coach. Carl is a PGA golf professional who has been in the golf business for over 25 years. 
He played high school golf at Punahou in Hawaii and then for the University of Hawaii. He passionately enjoys helping others develop their golf skills and their appreciation for the people and the game of golf.

He considers it an honor and a privilege to be able to share his golf talents, abilities and experiences with our student-athletes. He is looking forward to helping each student-athlete improve their individual golf game while demonstrating how golf’s lessons can be carried forward into everyday life. Carl believes in playing golf for an audience of One, allowing the self to experience God’s hope, love and joy through courageously taking on golf’s challenges, and then applying those lessons back into everyday life.

Carl and his family moved to Charlottesville in 2006 when Carl accepted an assistant golf professional position at Farmington Country Club. He is currently the Head Golf Professional at Anytime Golf, an indoor golf facility here in Charlottesville. His three sons, Daniel, Sam, and Michael, have all attended the Covenant School, and Michael is currently a senior. Carl is very appreciative of the love and guidance the Covenant experience has provided his boys, and he is grateful for the opportunity to give his time and talents back to our school.
