Student Spotlight: Rick Weaver
Senior Rick Weaver won his fourth VISAA (Virginia Independent Schools Atheltic Association) State Wrestling title this weekend.
Weaver is the 12th wrestler ever to win four straight VISAA state titles and the first in his weight class. He defeated a student at Benedictine High School in less than a minute to win the title. On Monday, he was named Schewels Athlete of the Week by the Daily Progress.
The Covenant wrestling team also brought home the state wrestling title this weekend.
