Personal Finance and Economics

This introductory personal finance/economics course will explore best practices for managing personal finances and basic principles of economics. The course will include instruction in the development of core skills including the creation of a personal budget and how to make responsible choices about expenses and consumer banking products as well as investment strategies.  The economics module of the course will provide a comparison of different economic systems and an introduction to basic economic concepts such as opportunity cost and cost benefit analysis.
