Integrating Technology

The integration of technology into the curriculum enables students to learn the skills necessary to be successful in today’s information-rich society. Teachers integrate technology in their classrooms with care and wisdom to promote learning and enhance students’ ability to engage the ideas and concepts at the heart of each discipline.

At both campuses, Chromebooks installed with Google educational apps and Smart Board technology complement learning. An iMac lab also enables Upper School journalism and yearbook students in their coursework. In many classes, students conduct online research, analyze scientific data, and use technology to enhance their subject knowledge, yet we believe there is no substitute for great books, actual experiences over virtual realities, and real conversation. Our greatest learning technology remains the lively, thoughtful, and caring interaction of teacher and student.
