Fifth Grade Civil War Wax Museum
Last week, our fifth-grade classes (safely) carried on the tradition of the Civil War Wax Museum with an outdoor twist! The Wax Museum is a culmination of their study of the Civil War.
Each student chose a person -- some well known, some lesser-known but extraordinary -- and told that person's story in character. This project combined training in research, writing, and speaking. As always, the students exceeded our expectations in their joy and creativity.
