Soccer & Football Teams Bring Home State Titles

Both Covenant Boys Soccer and Covenant Football shared the sweetness of victory this past weekend after winning state championships and very successful seasons.
The Covenant Boys Soccer Team won the VISAA Championship this past weekend, after Senior Soren Scott landed them a spot in the championship with an overtime goal. He scored the first goal on Friday night, followed by two more goals from fellow seniors, Giulio DeGiorgis and Josiah McCaskill. After losing in the semi-finals last year, the team was “fired up” and ready for success this year. Congratulations to Coach Verbrugge and all soccer players!
