Italy

During Easter Break, fourteen high school Latin students enjoyed six six days in Rome, with day trips to Tivoli, Ostia, the catacombs, Pompeii, and Herculaneum.  In addition, the group spent three nights in Florence, stopping for one day in Orvieto. Pizza and gelato were taste-tested at each destination!  Students were fascinated with the ancient Roman, early Christian, medieval, and Renaissance sites.

Covenant

Singers

Abroad

The Covenant Singers have traveled to Italy (the Vatican at Easter!), Austria, and France where they compete with other choral groups from around the world.

Covenant’s group of girls delighted a crowd with an impromptu concert in Piazza San Marco (St. Mark’s Square) in Venice, Italy.

Nicaragua

Covenant’s high school students have benefited by travelling to Granada, Nicaragua, to work alongside a missionary couple. Working with children who live in a very poor part of the community, students organize and provide a Vacation Bible School, play sports, help out in a school for special needs, in addition to working with a feeding program at the local dump. Other opportunities arise for service unique to each trip. A year of Spanish is highly recommended for students interested in this trip.
