In 2006, The Covenant School planned giving program was launched. Since 1985, Covenant has stood by our original mission to provide students and their families with academic excellence under the sovereignty of God. As the next generation of Covenant students takes shape, the challenges of being good stewards of the mission we are charged with also dictates maintaining control over expenses in order to keep tuition costs down. In turn, that facilitates making a Covenant education within the reach of the widest possible number of students.
Designating a planned gift can benefit your family and Covenant by mitigating your estate taxes (and, in some cases, your income taxes) while making a lasting gift to The Covenant School.
Conceived in 2006, Standing on HIS Promises is a gift-planning society established for donors who make gifts provisions in favor of The Covenant School via a Planned Gift vehicle.. This honorary society is named to reflect our underlying belief that God’s promises give us the hope for the future and the strength to get us there – and that we can stand on a firm foundation if we trust in Him.
Membership in Standing on HIS Promises is permanent and will continue on a yearly basis as long as the gift remains in effect. Likewise, the names of deceased members will remain in perpetuity among those listed. Gifts may be either unrestricted or designated for a particular purpose. Members’ names are entered into a bound volume which is permanently displayed on campus. In addition, events are held periodically to honor Society members, and their names, with permission, are noted from time to time in special school publications.
There is no minimum gift amount.
While disclosure of the amount of a gift is helpful to the school in its long-range planning, it is not required.
Consult your attorney and/or financial advisors before making any planned giving decisions.
