March Conference Meals
During Parent-Teacher Conferences in March, Lower School teachers remain at school for extended hours. The 2nd Grade will provide delicious meals for our hard-working teachers. It’s an important way we can say thanks for their dedication to our children!
Covenant Spring Carnival
Join in the fun and volunteer your time in support of our Second Annual Covenant Spring Carnival! In lead up to the Parent-Faculty Basketball game the Covenant courtyard and colonnades will come alive with fun inflatables, carnival games, delicious food and the highlight…a faculty filled dunk tank! Our 3rd Grade and House of Temperantia families will join to staff this wonderful event.
Faculty-Parent Basketball Game
This event will be enjoyed in conjunction with the Spring Carnival. The Faculty-Parent Basketball Game in the spring provides fun entertainment as parents take to the hardwood to compete against teachers and staff – along with a few surprise players coming off the bench! Our wonderful PE teachers will also lead the crowd in fun halftime activities. Tasty treats will be for sale by our 4th Grade families during the game and proceeds will benefit the Lower School PE Department.
Each spring, Covenant’s advancement office hosts Grandparents & Grandfriends Day at the Lower School. Throughout the morning guests are treated to delicious food and plenty of coffee. Grandparents attend class sessions and are treated to an assembly where they see samples of the wonderful programs Covenant students are experiencing. Kindergarten Families, your help is needed providing food, greeting visitors, and setting/cleaning up. Thank you for serving!
Fall Fest – An Afternoon of Family Fun
A free event sponsored by the 6th Grade and the Parent-Teacher Community. Fall Fest is a longtime Covenant tradition typically aligning with the Homecoming football game. Fall Fest brings brings all Covenant families and alumni together at the Upper School for homecoming athletic contests, food, face painting, a bouncy house, fellowship and fun!
Lower School Book Fair
Book Fair week at the Lower School sees Covenant students filling out wish lists for books they hope to take home. Our 2nd Grade parents work together to amazingly transform the library and front hall with creative decorations. They then help students shop and purchase many quality books, posters and accessories. This event encourages our students’ love of reading!
November Conference Meals
During parent-teacher conferences in November, teachers remain at school for extended hours. The 4th grade at Lower and the House of Iustitia at Upper will provide delicious meals for our hard-working teachers. It’s one way we can say thank you for their continued dedication to our children.
Teacher Appreciation Week – February 6–10
The week before Valentine’s Day our Grade 1 and House of Fortitudo families will join together to show appreciation to all our hard-working teachers and staff with gifts, food, and special surprises. Teacher Appreciation Week is a wonderful way to celebrate our teachers and thank them for their hard work and dedication to our children.
