Over 225 students are enrolled in the Upper School, and the number of students in the senior class has flucutated from 32 in the Class of 1998 to 75 students in the Class of 2008. The average percentage of students continuing into higher education at a four-year institution is over 90% with virtually all others attending two-year institutions. Students have been successful in gaining entrance into a wide array of colleges, including highly competitive ones, as colleges and universities recognize the strength of The Covenant School academic environment, quality of the course offerings, excellent academic foundation of the school’s graduates, and the strength of students’ writing skills.

Statement of Purpose

The Office of College Advising introduces students and their families to the college admission process and works with them, and the faculty, as a team as they search for and apply to colleges and accept college offers. It trains young people to solve problems, to set goals and to work hard to achieve them, and to take responsibility in seeking and earning college offers of admission.
